Jayne Latva, Milwaukee Pianist

I don’t know that I’ve ever actually met Jayne Latva, but her stature as a pianist, coach, accompanist, AND organist in the Milwaukee area is legendary.  She has published arrangements and has written at least one book as well.  I doubt she ever needs to advertise…well, maybe that’s not true.  While searching the web for more info about Jayne, I found her name on an AGO list of potential substitute organists.  This ad was at the bottom of the page. I love it!

Since the writing of this page, I got to see Jayne at work in the pit at the Marcus Center for WEST SIDE STORY.  She is a MONSTER!  Incredible player/reader.  I was completely floored.
