Jayme Dawicki is a versatile musician in the Milwaukee area. Her strengths include:
– Vocal accompanist (currently the accompanist for New Berlin Middle & High School choirs as well as West Milwaukee Middle School choirs). Includes many years of college level accompanying as well (UW-Milwaukee and UW-Madison).
– Instrumental accompanist
– Weddings and special events performer. Repertoire includes classical, pop standards, contemporary pop/rock, musical theater, and some jazz. (Currently the piano player at The Blue in downtown Milwaukee every Wednesday lunch hour)
– Teacher: Jayme has had a private piano and voice studio for over 10 years.
In addition, Jayme is a singer-songwriter that has performed her original music in 33 states. She is currently working on her third full production album. Her songs have been licensed on television shows on MTV, NBC, the CW, the Style Network, the Lifetime Network, plus Kohl’s Department in-store radio station and Pandora.com. Locally she can be heard on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee, 89.7 WUWM, and 91.7 WMSE. Jayme had international success when her song “Joe Barry” took the Runner-Up prize in the AAA/Alternative category for the 8th IAMA Competition (International Acoustic Music Awards which is a division of the USA Songwriting Competition) along with her song “Save Me” making it to the top 10 for the Best Female Singer category. Her tune “72 ½ Toyota Truck” was also a semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Competition.
Finally, Jayme was Miss Wisconsin 2002 and won the talent award for classical piano two years in a row. Her year was spent advocating for fine arts programs in schools. She has extensive knowledge and public speaking experience on this topic. She recently began giving assemblies/presentations again on the importance of fine arts in her life as well as accomplishing your dreams.
